My photographs, videos, and installations are principally concerned with gender politics, and with the history of queer and gender-nonconforming communities, and their archives, identities, and activism. I usually produce texts and events in coordination with my exhibitions, which I use to encourage dialogue with audiences, and with other artists and writers. I try to generate the kind of encounters that might transform my assumptions, too. As a result, my artwork aims to be both interdisciplinary and socially active. You can see portfolios of my projects under the Artwork tab.
